Dominio di Bagnoli: an authentic Italian Winery<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Italian winery in Veneto calls Dominio di Bagnoli, located in the province of Padova, offers the ideal blend of art, history, beauty and wine.
This name of Dominio di Bagnoli is derived from the Latin name (wet).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This peculiar characteristic came from since the time of the Romans. It was a completely marshy area, standing out only the Iberian Hills (called here as Colli Berici).
After a long work of the Benedictine monks, the canteen region became highly productive in the agrarian sector, and also worked with the region’s winemaking potential.
In fact, they were the largest Benedictine winery ever made, which could hold up to 10,000 hl of wine.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Marvelous purple grapes, known as Friularo (Latin word descending: frigus-meaning cold) were a precious commodity for the canteen and local economy.
The Friularo grape is of autocnone origin, there are documents that prove its presence since the time of the Roman Empire.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Friularo grape attracted a curious interest for Venetian merchants.
Due to its very thick bark and expressive tannins, it had a greater preservability during long trips.

The Villa and all the land was owned by the Benedictine monks, until Pope Alexander VII approved that all goods and artifacts be put up for auction to finance the Candida War.
Ludovico Widmann bought the Villa and from there they receive illustrious guests, like Goldoni a writer and dramaturgo Venetian.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Villa Widmann has an impressive beauty: it features a wonderful Italian-style garden with forty-one statues created by Antonio Bonazza in the mid-18th century.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The group in front of the villa represents the 12 signs of the zodiac and the gods of Olympus<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

More isolated, between the high hedges are the monumental statues that represent the ancient characters of the commedia dell’arte, today protagonists of evocative spectacles “Sounds and lights”, that evoke comedies of Goldoni in the Venetian dialect.<\/p>\r\n

The friularo wine and its passage<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Italian winery Dominio di Bagnoli is a spectacular place, with the sun, climate and relief ideal for these grapes of great power and durability.
It was only in 2011 that the Friularo wine was consented to the denomination DOCG.
DOCG is the name for Denominazione di Origine Controllata and Garantita <\/em>– means that this label is reserved with grapes coming exclusively from the geographical area.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Bagnoli friularo wine is a red wine of great structure elaborated of at least 90% of the Raboso Piave.<\/p>\r\n

The cultivation near the Euganean Hills (Colli Berici) guarantees a nocturnal and morning ventilation that allows to mitigate the heat of the summer and in the spring protect of the frost<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
